Lowell Sherman (October 11, 1885 San Francisco - December 28, 1934 Hollywood, California) was an American actor and director.

Lowell started out as an actor, usually playing playboys and villains and went on to becoming a director. Some of the films he directed were She Done Him Wrong (Paramount Pictures, 1933) with Mae West, Morning Glory (RKO, 1933) with Katharine Hepburn, and Broadway Through a Keyhole (20th Century Pictures, 1933) with Russ Columbo.

His third marriage was to actress Helene Costello, younger sister of Dolores Costello. Lowell died three days after Christmas 1934 from pneumonia, shortly after starting the filming of Becky Sharp (RKO, 1935) which was completed by Rouben Mamoulian.
