Harpeth Hall School is a private middle school and high school for girls in Nashville, Tennessee. It was founded in 1951 as the replacement to Ward-Belmont College south of downtown Nashville. It was built as a non-residential (day) school in the Green Hills neighborhood, a prestigious and affluent residential area southwest of downtown Nashville. It is dedicated to academic excellence in a single-gender environment. The graduates of Harpeth Hall matriculate to many of the best colleges and universities in the world.

It is often regarded as a sister institution to Montgomery Bell Academy. The two institutions do co-operate in certain areas such as dramatic presentations, and Harpeth Hall supplies some of MBA\'s cheerleaders. They occasionally also are scheduled together for basketball games.

In March 2005, Harpeth Hall won the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Division II State Girls\' Basketball Championship.

In October 2005, Harpeth Hall won the TSSAA Division II State Girls\' Volleyball Championship.

The High School lacrosse team were state champions from 2004-2006 and came in second in 2007.

Today, Harpeth Hall is one of only two private schools for girls in Nashville.
