What can be the true definion of news? Has it earned the name as it draws information from the four corners of north, east, west and south? Whatever may be the origin the very word, 'News' by defitnion means any new information or information on current events that get relayed through the print, audio-visual or braodcast, Internet, or though the rustic means so as to reach the mass audience at large and at the earliest. To many anything is news though it's a wrong notion. Those informations that have the potential or credibility or tend to attract the people at large can be regarded as an ideal news. It has been found through several reaesrches on the international level, whatver may be the other forms of alternative entertainments, in general eople do really crave to view oe simply listen to news. The most prominent prime reason is that in the sub conscious mind of each avarage individual there exists a secret desire or respect of knowledge and learning. In this realm so long there have been the predominnance of the print media, since to be well convesrant in this respect you shall have to be literate and by that you could enter into the urbanized educated bourgeoise. However, this spectacular dominance of the Print Media was curbed by the audio-visual genre. But with the advent of the Internet and the changing dimension of the international socio-economic and political structure by and large the consciousnes of people has changed to a large extent.
News is no longer in the same condition as it used to be even ten years ago. The Internet or Web based technology has brought to the people a tool to explore the unknown that was beyond the periphery of knowledge to the preceeding generations.
